2009 Seniors
Matthew Chipolis is the son of Stephen and Gina Chipolis of Harding. Matt wears number 26 for the Warriors. Matt has been playing competitive football and baseball since he was five years old. He has been a member of SADD and TATU for the past five years. Matt is also a member of Holy Redeemer Church, where he has been an altar server for ten years. After graduation, Matt intends to pursue his Master’s Degree in Education and play college football.

Bret Davis, wearing number 68 for the Warriors, is the son of Deborah Davis Crossley and James Crossley of Wyoming. Bret has been playing football for the Warriors since 7th grade. He received the Most Improved Player Award for the 2008 football season. He has been a member of the Spanish Club and Chess Club for the past three years. He has also been a member of Key Club for two years. Bret is in the National Honor Society, and has been recognized as the Student of the Month. Bret’s future plans are to attend a four-year college majoring in Pre-Med or Biology.

Sam Eramo wears number 21 for the Warriors. He is the son of Sam and Sandy Eramo of Exeter. Sam is a member of Student Council and National Honor Society. He also participates in the French Club, SADD, and TATU. Sam is an active member in his church’s Youth Group. He is a two-year letter winner in football and baseball, and plays varsity basketball for the Warriors. His future plans are attending a four-year college and playing football

Matthew Flynn, wearing number 75 for the Warriors, is the son Pat Flynn and Lee and Ann Sadusky of Exeter.   As a freshman, Matt participated in Track and Field. He has been a member of the football team for two years. He is currently on the Executive Board of Student Council. Matt enjoys reading, camping, and cooking. After graduation, he would like to attend college or culinary school to become a chef.

Sean Kenney, wearing number 9 for the Warriors, resides in West Wyoming with his parents, James and Jeanne Kenney. Sean serves as President of the Class of 2010. He is a member of Student Council and National Honor Society. He is also on the Yearbook Staff. After graduation, Sean will major in International Business at St. Vincent’s or Penn State University

Josh Lewis wears number 82 for the Warriors. He is the son of Mike and Sue Lewis. Josh has played football for the Warriors for three years. He has been a member of the United States Fencing Association for eight years. Josh has been awarded ten medals for fencing, four of which were received at the Keystone Games. Josh’s future plans include attending college, and joining the police force.

Leo Malsky wears number 7 for the Warriors. He is the son of Leo and Gina Malsky of West Pittston. Leo has two sisters; Alli, a 2008 WA graduate who attends Temple University and Anna, a freshmen Warrior cheerleader.   Leo is a three-year letterman for Warrior football. He has also played two years on the Varsity basketball team and participates in Track and Field. Leo earned a district medal throwing the javelin. He is a member of Student Council and the French Club.  When not on the practice field, Leo enjoys spending time with his friends. An extra special thanks to the coaching staff, family, and friends for their continued support all year long; and especially to Gram, for never missing a game. Leo is looking forward to beating Pittston Area in his final home game as a Wyoming Area Warrior! After graduation, Leo’s plans are to attend college.

Aidan Marich wears number 22 for the Warriors. Aidan is the son of Richard and Cathy Marich of Exeter.   Aidan began playing football in third grade, and continued playing for the Warriors for the past six years. He was a member of Student Council for four years. Aidan has participated in Track and Field since seventh grade. He was a district runner-up in the 100m dash, and competed at the 2008 PIAA Track and Field State Championships. Aidan plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh, study psychology, and join the Track and Field Team.

Lucas Stemba wears number 79 for the Warriors. He is the son of Joe and Sheri Stemba of Exeter.   Lucas is a member of the Wrestling Team and Key Club. He belongs to the West Pittston Boy Scouts Troop 302, where he has achieved the rank of Life Scout. Lucas also serves as an assistant den leader for the Cub Scout Pack. In wrestling, he was awarded 5th place at a district match. Lucas has also placed and received medals at the junior varsity level and post-season tournaments. He plans on entering the five-year Physician’s Assistant Program at college, and then becoming a neurologist

David J. Werner, wearing number 10 for the Warriors, resides in Exeter with his parents, Donald and Tamara Werner.  David is currently a volunteer firefighter, and has been a member of his community firehouse for the past six years. He has also been a member of the Wyoming Area Wrestling team for the last two years. After graduation, David plans on entering the Fire Science Technology Program and the Emergency Medical Services Program at Luzerne County Community College. He hopes to further his studies after the completion of college.
